    A transformative innovator, entrepreneur, educator, author, and social worker passionate about driving change, Kurt W. Oster, LBS (PA), LICSW-S (AL), LCSW- QS (FL), LCSW (PA & VA), BCD, RPT™ & Certified Playmaker is entering his sixteenth year in the mental health field. He is the Owner/President & CEO of VonOstir Innovation Services, PLLC, and the Chief Clinical Officer of Aspire Integrated Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Mr. Oster is a Pennsylvania Licensed Behavioral Specialist (LBS), an Alabama Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a Florida, Pennsylvania, & Virginia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a Florida and New Jersey Certified PreK-12 School Social Worker (CSSW). He is a Member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, a Board-Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD), and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT)™. In April 2024, Mr. Oster became a Certified Playmaker with the Life is Good Playmaker Project. Mr. Oster holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Urban Studies from Rutgers University, a Master in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Science (MS) in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Colorado Technical University. Additionally, Mr. Oster holds certifications including the ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Professional (ADHD-CCSP), Autism Spectrum Disorder-Clinical Specialist (ASD-CS), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and FEMA Professional Continuity Practitioner, Level I. As an LCSW, Mr. Oster serves children, adolescents, young adults, their families, LGBTQIA+, and individuals working through Trauma. Outside of his clinical practice, Mr. Oster is an author and presents information on youth civic engagement, SOGIE mental health, disaster preparedness, and emergency management to the international community. Mr. Oster, LBS, LCSW, ACSW, BCD, RPT™, is currently writing his first textbook in LGBTQ+ Play Therapy, which will be published in June 2025.

  • Amy Carrison, PsyD, LP, LADC
    Dr. Carrison is a licensed psychologist and licensed drug and alcohol counselor and has worked in many settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, outpatient substance abuse programs and halfway house settings for adolescents and adults. She has also worked in outpatient mental health settings with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Carrison has experience treating substance abuse concerns in adolescents and adults, grief/loss, executive functioning challenges in children, adolescents, and adults, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, adjustment concerns, and psychological testing.

Due to the nature of this course, the instructors advise anyone with questions regarding conducting assessment and evaluation to check with their state licensing board. This course is designed to provide master-level practitioners with an ethical understanding of assessing, evaluating, and diagnosing based off ethical standards. For individuals who are NOT able to or permitted to conduct assessments, this course is designed to help them understand how to read and interpret reports and data presented to best serve their clients.

1. This virtual event will be hosted via Zoom Webinar, and you may be prompted to download or upgrade your Zoom app if using a mobile device. A strong WiFi connection will be required for best quality.


2. We recommend clicking your "Join Webinar" button early and checking that your speakers are on before the event begins. Please do not worry about being seen or heard! Attendee video feeds and mics are turned off by default when entering a webinar. You will be able to ask questions via the Q&A feature.


3. Please respect that no copying, recording, or distribution of live session content is allowed. CE's are provided for the "live" sessions only. CE's will not be available for the recordings.

Evaluations, Post-test, and Certificates:
IMPORTANT re: Evaluations, Post-test, and Certificates:

Registrants attending Workshop # 8 Assessment in Play Therapy shall do so with the camera to receive CEs and a certificate of completion under APT Standards. Our administrator will monitor the on-camera presence throughout the program.


  • Registrants must submit an evaluation and complete a post-test administered upon the webinar presentation's conclusion. Participants must complete and submit both evaluations and post-tests with an 80% passing grade within 24 hours of the conclusion of this live webinar to receive CEs and a certificate of completion.
  • PLEASE set aside time between the webinar’s presentation conclusion to complete and submit your evaluation and quiz.
  • Registrants will be provided with a link in the CHAT box on Zoom and via email after the webinar to complete the evaluation and post-test.
For all workshops outside # 8: Certificates of completion will be sent out to all who complete evaluations.
Privacy of Participants


The privacy of all participants will assuredly be maintained from registration through receipt of a certificate of completion. Though participants will be required to be on camera to receive credit for a live webinar, the recording will not include a view of participants’ names or faces.
