Join us for a transformative two-day play therapy and mental health training conference designed to enrich your therapeutic skills and knowledge while benefiting your own self-care as a therapist. On the first day, delve into the history, research, principles, and practices of mindfulness and play therapy combined, exploring how mindfulness can enhance the therapeutic alliance and promote positive mental health outcomes for child clients and their caregivers. The second day of the conference transitions smoothly into nature play therapy, integrating the mindfulness techniques learned on the first day with the healing power of nature-based interventions. Participants will engage in hands-on experiential learning, with opportunities for immersive large and small group activities and discussions, fostering a collaborative and dynamic learning environment. This conference presenter, Lynn Louise Wonders, has years of expertise practicing and teaching mindfulness in play therapy and nature play therapy. She is the co-editor of the beloved book called Nature-based Play and Expressive Therapies for Children and Families, the founder of Mindfulness-based Play Therapy®. She has been providing play therapy training and supervision since 2010.
